Program Officer – Data Quality and Documentation

About the role

PATH is seeking a Program Officer to lead data quality and documentation activities for its urban disease surveillance project in India. Based in New Delhi, the officer will work closely with national and city‑level teams to ensure high‑quality data collection, reporting, and knowledge sharing.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with national and city‑level project teams to ensure timely data collection, compilation, and reporting across intervention sites.
• Develop and implement data quality assurance frameworks, including SOPs for validation, completeness checks, and error resolution.
• Conduct periodic data quality audits and support city teams in implementing corrective actions.
• Maintain project data repositories, ensuring data integrity, security, and accessibility for review and reporting.
• Lead the preparation of periodic project reports, progress updates, and donor deliverables in line with funder requirements.
• Synthesize implementation learnings into structured knowledge products and document impact analyses.

Required profile

• Experience coordinating program activities with national and state‑level teams.
• Proven ability to ensure quality assurance of project data and deliverables.
• Strong analytical skills for tracking performance against activity plans and KPIs.
• Experience preparing reports and documentation for donors and government counterparts.
