Program Coordinator – Community Mobilization

About the role

World Vision India is seeking a Program Coordinator to work with Community Mobilizers in the Malappuram area. The role links the Area Development Program office with local communities to advance child well‑being and sponsorship initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate World Vision’s mission, vision and values to community members and partners.
• Build capacity of local groups to own child‑well‑being outcomes and develop multi‑stakeholder partnerships.
• Identify and engage local partners, diversify resources and support child selection processes.
• Monitor registered children, ensure compliance with sponsorship standards and promote community‑led child protection mechanisms.
• Facilitate coaching, mentoring and technical support for Community Mobilizers and oversee programme implementation in the cluster.

Required profile

• University graduate in any discipline.
• Minimum two years of relevant experience.
• Good communication skills in the local language and English.
• Leadership ability to manage a team of 5‑7 persons.
• Understanding of poverty, government schemes and PRIs.
