About the role
The Department of Pharmacology is seeking an experienced MD/DNB professional to join as a Professor. The role involves teaching undergraduate and postgraduate medical students, leading research initiatives, and ensuring compliance with National Medical Commission (NMC) standards.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the Department of Pharmacology (if designated) and oversee its academic activities.
- Deliver high‑quality lectures and practical sessions to MBBS and postgraduate students.
- Guide postgraduate theses, supervise research projects, and promote publications in indexed journals.
- Ensure departmental compliance with NMC regulations and accreditation requirements.
- Contribute to academic planning, curriculum development, and institutional growth.
Required profile
- MD or DNB qualification in Pharmacology.
- Minimum experience as defined by NMC norms.
- Significant teaching experience in both UG and PG programs.
- Strong academic record with research publications in indexed journals.
