Production Engineer – Manufacturing Shift Lead

About the role

The Production Engineer / Executive will lead a production shift, ensuring that manufacturing targets are achieved safely, on‑time, in‑full and to quality standards. This role is critical to delivering blood‑bag and pharmaceutical products that impact patient care worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and supervise production team members during the assigned shift.
• Coordinate production schedules, allocate resources and monitor progress against customer demand.
• Monitor product quality, enforce quality‑control procedures and resolve any quality issues promptly.
• Enforce safety protocols, conduct regular inspections and address hazards or violations.
• Communicate goals, performance metrics and KPIs to the team and report to senior management.
• Collaborate with engineering, production planning and quality assurance to ensure seamless operations.
• Identify and implement process improvements to boost productivity and efficiency.

Required profile

• B.Tech degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Polymer or Chemical Engineering.
• 3‑5 years of experience supervising production in a manufacturing environment.
• Prior experience in blood‑bag or pharmaceutical manufacturing within a USFDA‑regulated facility.
