Production Associate – Manufacturing Operations

About the role

The Production Associate supports plant manufacturing operations by performing standard production, packaging, and quality tasks. This role helps maintain a safe, efficient flow while ensuring food safety, quality, and customer specifications are met.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor assigned production or packaging equipment following SOPs and safety guidelines.
• Load, unload, and stage materials to keep continuous production flow.
• Perform in‑process quality checks, identify defects and escalate deviations.
• Package finished product accurately, applying correct labeling, sealing and presentation.
• Follow GMP and HACCP food‑safety standards, maintain sanitation and housekeeping.
• Assist with routine equipment setup, changeovers and minor adjustments.
• Communicate production issues, quality concerns or safety observations to supervisors.
• Complete required production documentation and records on time.

Required profile

• B.Tech in Dairy Technology, Food Technology, Dairy Science or Food Science.
• 1 to 5 years of experience in production, distribution or plant operations.
• Strong knowledge of line operations, distribution processes and system‑based workflows.
• Ability to lead work activities without formal people‑management responsibility.
• Effective communication skills for cross‑team coordination.
• High attention to detail and commitment to safety, food safety and quality standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and HACCP requirements.
• Equipment setup, changeovers and minor adjustments.
• In‑process quality inspection techniques.
