Production Associate (Manufacturing Operations)

About the role

The Production Associate supports daily production and distribution activities on a dedicated line, ensuring safe, efficient and reliable operations. Working hands‑on with team members, you will coordinate workflow, manage inventory movements and help resolve system issues.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily operational activities on the assigned production line while performing hands‑on work alongside partners.
• Coordinate workflow, priorities and task execution to maintain continuous operations and service levels.
• Support finished‑goods movement and distribution, ensuring accurate and timely execution.
• Maintain accurate production and distribution records; investigate inventory shortages or discrepancies.
• Use and monitor distribution and shipping systems, identifying and escalating issues as needed.
• Schedule and coordinate outbound loads and appointments for the distribution center.
• Serve as a point of support for partners with system questions, process issues, or workload balancing.
• Perform required PCP and CCP checks, following food‑safety and quality reaction plans.
• Participate in improvement initiatives and short‑term projects to enhance operational effectiveness.
• Reinforce safe work practices and compliance with standard operating procedures.

Required profile

• B.Tech or equivalent in Dairy Technology, Food Technology, Dairy Science or Food Science.
• 3–5 years of experience in production, distribution or plant operations.
• Strong knowledge of line operations, distribution processes and system‑based workflows.
• Ability to lead work activities and prioritize without formal people‑management responsibility.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication and attention‑to‑detail skills.
• Commitment to safety, food safety and quality standards.

Required skills

• Use of distribution and shipping systems for inventory and load scheduling.
