Product Manager II (Lending & Credit)

About the role

Bluevine is seeking an experienced Product Manager to own and drive the roadmap for payments, collections, capital markets, and accounting & finance within its lending business unit. The role will shape mission‑critical platforms that impact both client experiences and internal workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the product roadmap, aligning initiatives with company strategy, OKRs, and KPIs.
• Gather requirements from risk, back‑office, accounting, finance, legal, and compliance teams.
• Write detailed technical specifications, acceptance criteria, and system design guidance for engineering.
• Partner with R&D and QA through sprint planning, UAT, and production deployment, resolving issues promptly.
• Monitor and maintain mission‑critical payment, accounting, and capital‑markets systems, ensuring data accuracy and scalability.
• Analyze data, run SQL queries, and incorporate stakeholder feedback to prioritize high‑impact enhancements.
• Facilitate communication between technical and business stakeholders, providing updates and risk mitigation.
• Conduct demos, create training materials, and produce reports for partners and internal teams.

Required profile

• 5+ years of product management experience in a fast‑paced technology environment.
• Strong communication and organizational skills to work with diverse technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Proven track record of launching successful products and managing complex projects with limited resources.
• Background in fintech lending is a plus, but not mandatory.
• Bachelor’s degree in physics, computer science, engineering, or related field; advanced degrees considered.

Required skills

• SQL for data analysis and querying.
• Experience with AI research and prototyping tools such as Gemini, ChatGPT, and Claude.
