Product Designer (B2C, 0-to-1)

About the role

PWORLD is hiring a Product Designer for a seed-funded wealthtech startup in Bengaluru. The role owns the design end to end, from understanding the problem to shipping the experience, and works directly with founders and engineers. The company is looking for someone comfortable in an early-stage, fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own design end to end, from problem understanding to shipping the experience, turning product ideas into clear, usable flows.
• Work directly with founders and engineers to turn product ideas into usable flows.
• Build and maintain the design system.
• Use AI tools to speed up exploration and iteration, and code prototypes and POCs.
• Run customer research and talk to users regularly to shape what is built.
• Track how designs perform after launch and improve them based on user feedback and data.

Required profile

• Strong B2C product designer with end-to-end ownership and prototype-in-code ability.
• 3+ years designing B2C products at a high-growth consumer or fintech company.
• Has owned a product area or a 0-to-1 launch end to end, not just individual screens inside a large team.
• Comfortable with fixed pay matched to current CTC (no hike) plus ESOPs worth 20-30% of total CTC, within an overall budget of up to 28 lakh INR total CTC.

Required skills

• Fluent with AI tools to code prototypes and POCs and to accelerate exploration and iteration.
• Has built and maintained a design system.
• Hands-on customer research, regular user talks, first-principles thinking and strong user empathy.
• Tracks post-launch performance and improves designs based on feedback and data.

The interview process has three rounds: founder introduction call, technical round, and final discussion with the founder.
