Procurement Manager – End-to-End Sourcing

About the role

Hector Beverages, the maker of the Paper Boat brand, is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead end‑to‑end sourcing of fruit pulp, dairy, dry fruits, spices, packaging and other agri‑based raw materials for its ethnic beverage and food portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full procurement lifecycle (PR/RFQ/PO creation, vendor negotiation, contracting, PO‑to‑GRN closure) for fruit pulp, dairy inputs, dry fruits, spices and packaging materials.
• Develop and execute category sourcing strategies for seasonal agri‑linked raw materials, planning for harvest windows and building buffer‑stock plans.
• Identify, qualify and onboard vendors, including farmer collectives and Fairtrade‑certified suppliers, through audits, sample evaluation and commercial negotiation.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms and rate contracts; monitor global commodity and agri‑input price trends to guide sourcing decisions.
• Track supplier OTIF and quality performance, lead structured vendor review meetings and drive corrective actions for under‑performing suppliers.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, R&D, Finance and Demand Planning to align procurement with production schedules and seasonal launches, minimizing stock‑outs.
• Identify and implement cost‑saving initiatives via specification rationalisation, vendor consolidation and alternate/local sourcing.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, vendor contracts and Fairtrade/ethical sourcing documentation.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing end‑to‑end procurement of agri‑based raw materials and packaging.
• Strong vendor management and negotiation skills, preferably with Fairtrade or ethical sourcing programmes.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with Manufacturing, Quality, R&D, Finance and Demand Planning teams.
• Excellent analytical skills to monitor commodity price movements and develop buffer‑stock strategies.
• Familiarity with seasonal harvest cycles and ability to plan for seasonality risks.
