Procurement Analyst

About the role

As a member of Consilio’s global procurement team, the Procurement Analyst supports business users throughout the buying process, offers expert advice on procurement policies, and builds strong relationships with internal customers and external suppliers. The role also focuses on gathering data to identify cost‑saving opportunities and presenting analysis and recommendations to leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Understand IT hardware, software and professional services requirements and follow purchase procedures, ensuring compliance with spend limits.
• Manage purchase requisitions, issue purchase orders on time and coordinate low‑value sourcing plans with suppliers.
• Prepare RFQ documents, develop comparative analyses and obtain necessary approvals from stakeholders.
• Communicate with requestors, inventory control, accounts payable and resolve day‑to‑day operational issues.
• Create and manage contracts, including renewals, for various purchases.
• Collect and analyse procurement data to identify potential savings and provide optimization recommendations.

Required profile

• Graduate degree with excellent communication skills.
• 4–7 years of buying experience, preferably in IT hardware, software or professional services procurement.
• Strong understanding of procurement guidelines and contract management.
• Proven ability to work with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Analytical and reasoning skills with high attention to detail.
• Willingness to work night shifts (7 PM – 4 AM) as required.
