Private Equity & Investment Funds Attorney

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned attorney to support our private equity and investment fund initiatives on a contract basis. This remote position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of high‑impact transactional documents and contribute to AI‑driven legal analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Review, annotate, and provide practical insight on a wide range of transactional agreements.
• Analyze SaaS/cloud technology service agreements and other legal documents, delivering structured feedback.
• Offer expertise on investment funds, asset management, private equity, and M&A law.
• Evaluate and clarify legal language to improve AI learning frameworks.
• Draft sample clauses and highlight key risk areas in contracts.
• Collaborate with fellow legal professionals to benchmark agreement standards.

Required profile

• JD from an accredited law school preferred; LLM considered with exceptional experience.
• Strong experience in private equity, investment funds, M&A, or asset‑management legal practice.
• Proven ability to work with transactional documents such as MSAs, SPAs/APAs, LPAs, DPAs, side letters, and NDAs.
• In‑depth knowledge of contract‑heavy work in investment funds, banking & finance, technology/SaaS, and data‑privacy sectors.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication focused on clarity and precision.
