Private Equity Intelligence Analyst (Bangalore)

About the role

Gain is looking for a Private Equity Intelligence Analyst to join its Bangalore team. You will help build and maintain the research content that powers Gain’s global private‑markets platform, initially focusing on US‑based companies.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and process business and financial information to create research content for the platform.
• Deliver insightful analysis on companies for Gain’s customers.
• Monitor and verify significant events such as annual reports, M&A activity, restructurings and ownership changes.
• Support value‑added research and strategy projects.
• Collaborate closely with Private Equity Intelligence Associates in India and across the globe.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or MBA in finance, economics, business or a quantitative discipline with strong academic performance.
• 6 months to 1.5 years of experience in financial research, investment banking, strategy consulting or a Big 4 role in India.
• Demonstrated enthusiasm for private‑equity and investment banking research.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive, action‑oriented mindset.
