About the role

We are looking for a Principal Engineer – Dry Utility (Infrastructure) to join AECOM’s Energy team in Gurugram, India. The role involves leading the design and delivery of dry utility infrastructure for large‑scale energy projects across global offices.

Key responsibilities

Gather and correlate engineering data using established procedures.
Perform detailed engineering calculations and routine tests for electrical, lighting, telecom and water treatment systems.
Develop and modify design approaches to solve new technical challenges.
Identify and resolve discrepancies in results and provide guidance to entry‑level engineers.
Complete primary design elements for projects within budget and schedule with minimal supervision.

Required profile

Master of Engineering (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline.
10–13 years of experience in electrical and dry‑utility design, preferably on international projects (Middle East, UK, USA, Canada, ANZ).
