Principal Analyst - ATR (Tax Expert)

About the role

The Tax Expert is responsible for driving continuous improvement in the Zone's reporting and evaluation processes. This role involves ensuring the timely and accurate maintenance of complete tax declarations and the general ledger, handling transactions of a complex and sensitive nature.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with month‑end close processes and prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual tax declarations and financial reports.
• Participate in interim, hard close, and final audits while strictly adhering to tax and contribution payment deadlines.
• Justify and verify account balances, coordinate with Tax, General Department, PTP, and other relevant teams.
• Manage end‑to‑end accounting processes for assigned entities and resolve ad‑hoc accounting issues within the tax scope.
• Contribute to field‑specific improvement projects, ensure compliance with accounting principles, KPIs, and InBev policies, and identify potential risks.
• Review operational policies, recommend improvements, and act as a subject‑matter expert on all tax‑related activities.

Required profile

• University degree in B.Com, BBA, M.Com, MBA, CA (Inter) or related fields.
• 3‑5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Experience collaborating with teams across different geographies.
• Strong knowledge of financial concepts, logical problem‑solving skills, and ability to prioritize workload.
• Excellent teamwork and relationship‑building abilities.
