About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Primary Homeroom Teacher to lead an inquiry‑based classroom following the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP). The successful candidate will create a safe, inclusive environment where young learners develop essential concepts and skills through transdisciplinary units of inquiry.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver inquiry‑based, concept‑driven lessons aligned with the IB PYP framework.
- Design and implement transdisciplinary units of inquiry.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Observe, assess, and document student learning using formative and summative strategies.
- Foster IB learner profile attributes and Approaches to Learning (ATL) skills.
- Maintain student portfolios, records, and reports.
- Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers.
- Collaborate with specialist teachers and support teams.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education.
- IB PYP training preferred.
- 3–5 years of teaching experience in the PYP curriculum.
