PR & Communication Freelancer – Remote

About the role

We are a fast‑growing digital storytelling and brand communications startup looking for a remote PR & Communication freelancer. You will help D2C, tech, wellness and lifestyle brands craft high‑impact narratives and secure earned media across India and beyond.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute end‑to‑end PR and communications strategies for diverse brands.
• Build and maintain media lists; pitch stories to editors, journalists and digital creators in tier‑1 and niche Indian publications.
• Coordinate press releases, media kits, product launches, influencer collaborations and campaign briefs.
• Monitor media coverage, track KPIs (mentions, sentiment, reach) and deliver performance reports with actionable insights.
• Act as brand ambassador in press conversations, nurturing relationships with journalists, bloggers, podcasters and YouTube creators.
• Collaborate with internal creative and social teams to align PR with broader marketing calendars.

Required profile

• Experience with influencer PR campaigns and D2C or startup brands is preferred.
• Familiarity with the Indian media landscape and digital publishing ecosystem.
• Comfort working independently in a fully remote environment.
