Pool Attendant

About the role

Andores Resort And Spa is seeking a full‑time Pool Attendant to join its team in Bardez, Goa. You will be the front‑line guardian of the pool area, ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for guests enjoying the resort’s beachfront facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor the pool area continuously to guarantee guest safety and respond calmly to minor incidents.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the pool deck, loungers, towels, and related equipment according to resort standards.
• Assist guests with poolside amenities, provide friendly service, and enforce pool rules.
• Report any maintenance issues promptly and coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams.
• Support basic pool upkeep tasks as instructed, including water level checks and equipment handling.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with polite communication skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift light to moderate weights, and work outdoors in varying weather.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Basic English proficiency; knowledge of local languages is a plus.
• Previous hospitality or guest‑facing experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Required skills

• First aid certification (advantageous).
• Lifeguarding certification (advantageous).
