Plant Maintenance Officer

About the role

The Plant Maintenance Officer will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of a valve manufacturing plant. This role focuses on maintaining CNC machines, forging equipment, and assembly lines while overseeing plant utilities and infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee preventive, routine, and breakdown maintenance of CNC machines, forging machines, and assembly equipment.
• Maintain maximum machine uptime and support uninterrupted production.
• Monitor and manage plant utilities such as electricity, water supply, sewage, and drainage systems.
• Coordinate renewal and administration of all Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs).
• Liaise with equipment manufacturers, service providers, and vendors for repairs and technical support.
• Ensure plant infrastructure, buildings, and common facilities remain in good working condition.
• Implement proper waste disposal, housekeeping, and environmental compliance.
• Maintain accurate maintenance schedules, service records, and equipment documentation.
• Identify and drive improvements to reduce downtime, increase efficiency, and control maintenance costs.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and support overall plant upkeep.

Required profile

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline.
• Proven experience in maintaining CNC machines, forging equipment, and industrial manufacturing facilities.
• Strong knowledge of plant utilities, AMC management, vendor coordination, and troubleshooting.
