Physics Teacher (Grades 6‑8)

About the role

The Physics Teacher for grades 6 to 8 will deliver high‑quality instruction, fostering curiosity and analytical thinking. The role focuses on building a strong foundation in scientific concepts, preparing students for assessments and real‑life applications.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Physics lessons aligned with curriculum standards.
• Use practical experiments, demonstrations and technology to clarify concepts.
• Develop students’ scientific inquiry, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Assess, record and report student progress through tests, assignments and projects.
• Create a safe, stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity.
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate Physics with other STEM subjects.
• Participate in school events, science fairs and extracurricular activities.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Physics.
• 2–5 years of experience teaching Physics at middle or senior school level.
• Experience preparing students for board or university examinations (CBSE/IGCSE).
• Demonstrated ability to conduct laboratory experiments and science projects.

Required skills

• Proficiency in operating laboratory equipment safely and effectively.
• Competence in using digital teaching tools and technology for instruction and assessment.
