Pharmacist – Full‑time Community Pharmacy

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site Pharmacist position is based in Kochi and supports Janani Mithra’s community pharmacy network. The role focuses on safe medication dispensing, patient counseling, and maintaining high standards of pharmacy operations.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medicines accurately and securely while maintaining detailed records.
• Provide patients with clear guidance on prescription use and over‑the‑counter products.
• Manage pharmaceutical inventory, ensuring proper storage, stock rotation, and timely re‑ordering.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and pharmacy‑law regulations.
• Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimise patient outcomes.
• Contribute to community health initiatives that improve access to affordable medication.

Required profile

• Expert knowledge of pharmaceuticals, dispensing practices, and drug‑interaction safety.
• Strong understanding of Indian pharmacy regulations and pharmacy law.
• Excellent customer‑service orientation with the ability to communicate medication information clearly.
• Experience in inventory management and meticulous record‑keeping.
• Ability to work effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Pharmacy with a current license to practice in Kerala.
