PGT English Teacher – Boarding School

About the role

We are looking for a passionate Post‑Graduate Teacher (PGT) of English to join Mayo College Girls’ School, a residential institution in Ajmer, Rajasthan. The successful candidate will deliver high‑quality English instruction to students up to Grade XII, primarily following the ISC and Cambridge curricula.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess English lessons for classes from lower secondary to senior secondary.
• Develop and adapt curriculum materials to meet ISC and Cambridge standards.
• Mentor and support students in their academic and personal growth.
• Participate actively in pastoral care, co‑curricular and sporting activities.
• Fulfil residential duties, including supervising boarding life and contributing to the school community.

Required profile

• Post‑graduate degree in English with a B.Ed. qualification.
• Minimum five years of teaching experience up to Grade XII in a boarding or day‑boarding school.
• Strong knowledge of ISC and Cambridge curricula.
• Excellent interpersonal, leadership and communication abilities.
• Commitment to holistic education and ability to multitask in a vibrant residential environment.
