Payroll Implementation Coordinator

About the role

The Payroll Implementation Coordinator drives end‑to‑end payroll delivery for Employer of Record (EOR) and Global Pay clients. Working from discovery through configuration, testing, first payroll execution and handover, the role ensures a stable, operational payroll before transition to Business‑as‑Usual operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead payroll‑specific discovery sessions and define payroll requirements such as pay elements, calendars, statutory deductions and employer costs.
• Identify country‑specific payroll risks, dependencies and regulatory considerations early in the project.
• Partner with Supply Chain to select, approve and onboard In‑Country Partners or external payroll vendors.
• Coordinate payroll setup with internal platforms, validate configurations against client design and local statutory rules.
• Maintain implementation checklists, ensure completeness of inputs, templates and employee data prior to testing.
• Manage payroll test runs, parallel payrolls and first live payroll execution, reviewing registers, payslips and statutory calculations.
• Document discrepancies, lead remediation and confirm operational stability before handover to BAU Payroll Operations.
