Patient Care Coordinator – Ahmedabad

About the role

The Patient Care Coordinator supports and manages Patient Support Programs, ensuring patients receive timely, compassionate assistance throughout their treatment journey. Acting as a trusted advocate, the coordinator removes barriers to care and helps expand access to medical benefits worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the line manager and program team in managing patient support programs and liaising with stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate patient files and ensure timely submission according to project standards.
• Enroll eligible patients promptly, following defined workflows and program timelines.
• Educate and coordinate with patients to facilitate seamless enrollment and support.
• Accompany team members on visits to healthcare providers, pharmacies, or support sites to aid program implementation.
• Ensure patients receive their medications efficiently and without delay.
• Prepare regular performance reports on patient numbers, services provided, and quality metrics.
• Maintain electronic records, perform administrative duties, and use Axios’ Patient Management System for all activities.

Required profile

• A degree or diploma in a medical field or social work (preferred).
• 0‑1 year of experience in healthcare, scientific, NGO, or related environment.
• Experience in data monitoring and management or logistics/supply‑chain coordination is an advantage.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Willingness to travel frequently and work flexible hours.
