Passenger Relations Representative

About the role

The Passenger Relations Representative will join Tata Consultancy Services' travel operations team in Pune, handling passenger revenue accounting and refund processing for airline partners. The role operates on a rotational 24/7 shift schedule and requires strong knowledge of global distribution systems.

Key responsibilities

• Read and interpret PNRs, including history and remarks.
• Process ticket issuance, re‑issuance, cancellations, and interline transactions.
• Calculate and process refunds through BSP, ARC, and GDS platforms.
• Perform fare filing and fare audit activities where required.
• Handle non‑refundable tax queries and provide accurate tax information.
• Collaborate with travel agencies, airlines, and back‑office teams to resolve refund cases.

Required profile

• IATA UFTAA certification or a Diploma in Travel and Tourism (preferred).
• Ability to work in a rotational 24/7 shift environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret complex reservation data.
