Partner Sales Operations Manager – Global Alliances & Channels

About the role

Appian is looking for a Partner Sales Operations Manager to lead operational excellence and accelerate global partner growth for its AI‑Powered Process Automation platform. This individual contributor will oversee the local Chennai team while providing high‑value operational support and executive assistance to the Global Alliances leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end deal registration lifecycle for global partners, ensuring eligibility validation, timely approvals and accurate CRM attribution.
• Act as the primary conduit between partner deal submitters, the alliance team and field sales representatives to facilitate seamless communication and conversion to Stage 2 qualification.
• Identify bottlenecks in registration processes, reduce errors and drive operational efficiency.
• Generate and analyze deal registration reports to surface trends and partner performance gaps.
• Provide ad‑hoc operational support for initiatives such as new partner onboarding and long‑tail enablement.
• Manage day‑to‑day operations for the local team, set priorities, mentor staff and handle escalations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, IT or a related field.
• 3–5+ years of experience in channel or sales operations, with at least 1 year in a lead or supervisory role.
• People‑management experience.
• Strong proficiency in Salesforce and enterprise CRM systems.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Strong organizational and critical‑thinking abilities in a fast‑paced, multi‑time‑zone environment.
