About the role
The International Institute of Hotel Management (IIHM) is seeking a dynamic Part‑Time Culinary Faculty for its Dehradun campus. The role combines practical kitchen instruction with theoretical teaching, allowing you to share your expertise in Indian and Continental cuisines while mentoring the next generation of hospitality professionals.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver hands‑on practical training and classroom lectures in Indian regional and Continental cuisines.
- Mentor students on culinary techniques, kitchen safety, HACCP hygiene standards, and food presentation.
- Design and assess practical exams, assignments, and continuous evaluations.
- Organise workshops, culinary events, and industry‑linked activities.
- Ensure curriculum aligns with international hospitality standards and contribute to curriculum enhancements.
Required profile
- 3–5 years of experience in a 4/5‑star hotel or premium restaurant chain.
- Degree in Hotel Management or Culinary Arts.
- Deep knowledge of authentic Indian regional cuisines and modern Continental cuisine.
- Proven ability to teach, train or mentor students in a professional or academic setting.
- Excellent communication, patience and a genuine passion for developing aspiring chefs.
Required skills
- HACCP food safety standards.
