Packaging Operator

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Packaging Operator to join our production team. In this role you will operate and maintain packaging machinery, ensuring that products are sealed, labeled and packed to the highest quality standards. The position involves hands‑on work on the shop floor in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, calibrate and run packaging equipment according to standard operating procedures.
• Inspect finished goods for correct seals, labels and packaging integrity.
• Perform routine cleaning, troubleshooting and minor repairs to minimise downtime.
• Record production data, log any issues and complete required paperwork.
• Handle packaging materials inventory and move packed products to the designated storage area.
• Follow all safety protocols, including OSHA guidelines, and keep the work area tidy.

Required profile

• Ability to perform repetitive manual tasks with precision.
• Comfortable standing for long periods and lifting moderate loads.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good communication skills to report issues to supervisors.
