Ops Specialist – Lending (Letter of Offer Return)

About the role

The LOO Return Specialist supports Institutional and Commercial Lending customers by ensuring accurate validation, processing and set‑up of lending facilities. Working closely with Relationship Managers, Credit teams, product partners and operations stakeholders, the role focuses on reviewing returned Letters of Offer and completing facility set‑up across core lending platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Review and validate returned Letters of Offer and associated documentation.
• Complete facility set‑up activities on systems such as Loan IQ, Orion and other banking platforms.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in documentation and data efficiently.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Credit, Risk and Operations teams to ensure smooth processing.
• Support process‑improvement, automation and transformation initiatives.
• Maintain compliance with operational risk and control standards.

Required profile

• Experience in lending operations, banking operations, loan administration or customer documentation.
• Understanding of lending processes, facility set‑up and documentation requirements.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and work both independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent organisational, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
