Operator – Flavour Blending

About the role

The Operator will work in a production environment blending flavour and fragrance ingredients according to strict formulations. The role demands high precision, strong attention to detail, and the ability to handle intense odours safely.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately dispense, weigh, measure and mix ingredients following approved batch sheets and SOPs.
• Maintain compliance with quality, safety and manufacturing standards throughout the process.
• Handle raw materials, flavour compounds, packaging and finished goods in line with established guidelines.
• Assist with material movement, production setup, cleaning and other manufacturing activities.
• Keep the production area and equipment clean and organized.
• Record production data accurately and report any deviations to the supervisor.
• Support inventory handling and stock management related to production.

Required profile

• High level of integrity, reliability and discipline.
• Steady hands with the ability to dispense and weigh small quantities without deviation.
• Good odour differentiation skills to identify flavour and aroma compounds.
• Basic mathematical aptitude for calculations, measurements and batch preparation.
• Physically fit for routine production tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
