Operations Manager – Delivery Infrastructure

About the role

Amazon is looking for a Cluster Operations Manager to lead the set‑up and expansion of its delivery infrastructure within a city. The role focuses on establishing delivery stations, partnering with service providers, and ensuring rapid growth of the network to meet customer expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and secure locations for new delivery stations and hubs across the city.
• Build and manage relationships with Service Partners, appointing them and developing their capabilities.
• Hire, train and lead a high‑performing delivery workforce in collaboration with HR and training teams.
• Ensure sufficient staffing and bandwidth for peak‑time deliveries.
• Coordinate with Finance, Customer Service, Fulfilment Centres and Project teams on city‑wide operational matters.
• Conduct performance appraisals for Delivery Center Managers and Channel Relationship Managers, providing mentorship.
• Drive continuous improvement of delivery processes using Kaizen, data analysis and formal process‑control mechanisms.
