Operations Executive – Legal and Compliance

About the role

The Operations Executive – Legal & Compliance ensures that Make Your Own Perfume meets all legal, licensing and statutory obligations. You will coordinate with internal teams, government authorities, consultants and vendors to keep the business compliant and running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Review, coordinate and finalise draft agreements with mall management, landlords and other partners, managing renewals and amendments.
• Maintain organised, audit‑ready records of all agreements, licences, approvals and statutory certificates.
• Apply for, obtain, renew and monitor trade licences, shop & establishment licences, GST registration, legal metrology registration and other statutory approvals.
• Track compliance deadlines, maintain expiry trackers and ensure timely renewals to avoid penalties.
• Coordinate with government offices, consultants, vendors and internal stakeholders for approvals, inspections and registrations.
• Prepare regular compliance reports, trackers and documentation for audits and internal reviews.

Required profile

• LLB degree preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in legal coordination, compliance management, licensing or related administration.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English and Hindi.
• Highly organised, proactive and detail‑oriented with good negotiation and follow‑up abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
