Operation Excellence Manager

About the role

We are looking for an Operation Excellence Manager to lead continuous improvement initiatives at our Aurangabad plant. The role focuses on driving Six Sigma, Kaizen and other Lean methodologies to enhance plant performance and build a quality‑first mindset across all levels.

Key responsibilities

• Identify yearly improvement areas and prioritize CI projects aligned with plant goals.
• Develop detailed project plans, conduct DMAIC activities, and analyse data to generate actionable insights.
• Coordinate training calendars for Six Sigma (BB/GB/YB) and execute Kaizen mechanisms.
• Lead small‑group quality circles, value‑stream mapping, bottleneck and cycle‑time studies.
• Monitor project status, prepare dashboards, and communicate progress to plant heads and CIC leadership.
• Conduct GEMBA walks and Kaizen workshops to surface improvement opportunities.
• Support manufacturing project leaders in trial execution and ensure compliance with protocols.
• Organise quarterly Kaizen events, Six Sigma competitions and certify participants.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading continuous improvement projects in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to train and develop teams in analytical thinking and problem‑solving tools.
• Strong communication skills to interact with cross‑functional stakeholders.
