Online IB Chemistry Tutor (Full-time, Remote)

About the role

Pi Vector is seeking an enthusiastic Online IB Chemistry Tutor to deliver one‑on‑one instruction to high‑school students preparing for the International Baccalaureate Chemistry examinations. The position is full‑time, remote, and focuses on both internal assessments and final exams.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct personalized tutoring sessions covering the IB, IGCSE and IBDP Chemistry syllabi.
• Explain complex chemical concepts in clear, accessible language.
• Design and adapt lesson plans and practice materials to match each student’s learning needs.
• Guide students through internal assessment requirements and exam preparation.
• Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or a closely related field (Master’s or teaching certification is a plus).
• 3–9 years of teaching or tutoring experience, preferably with the IB curriculum.
• Strong familiarity with IB exam papers, grading rubrics and assessment criteria.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate students.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of the IB/IGCSE/IBDP Chemistry syllabus.
• Experience preparing students for IB internal assessments.
• Ability to create customized lesson materials.

What we offer

• Salary ranging from 3.6 LPA to 7 LPA (INR, annual).
• Full‑time remote work with flexible hours (2 pm‑10 pm).
• Six‑day work week with one day off (Monday).
