French Teacher

About the role

Francophone Academy is seeking a full‑time remote French Teacher to deliver live online lessons. You will start with A1‑level learners and may expand to A2 and B1 groups as you gain experience and as student needs evolve.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver interactive French lessons in a virtual classroom.
• Follow the academy’s curriculum while adapting content to individual learner needs.
• Create and use engaging exercises, activities, and assessments.
• Support development of speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar, and vocabulary skills.
• Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain accurate student records and track learning outcomes.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and motivating online classroom environment.
• Communicate professionally with students and, when appropriate, their parents or guardians.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers, share resources, and participate in professional development.

Required profile

• Strong command of French, both spoken and written.
• Ability to teach beginner and intermediate learners (A1‑A2‑B1).
• Passion for language education and student success.
• Previous experience in French teaching, tutoring, or related education preferred.
• Working toward or holding DALF, TEF, or TCF certification is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in English for internal communication.
