Occupational Health Physician (AFIH) – Onsite Kutch

About the role

The Occupational Health Physician (AFIH) will be based on‑site in the Kutch district, delivering comprehensive occupational health services to the workforce. You will conduct pre‑employment, periodic and fitness‑for‑work examinations, manage work‑related illnesses and injuries, and support emergency and first‑aid response.

Key responsibilities

• Perform pre‑employment, periodic and return‑to‑work medical examinations.
• Assess fitness for work and issue medical fitness certificates.
• Identify, treat and coordinate care for work‑related illnesses and injuries.
• Oversee emergency medical response and first‑aid provision on site.
• Participate in workplace inspections and advise management on health‑safety measures.
• Maintain accurate, confidential medical records and ensure compliance with occupational health regulations.
• Prepare health education, wellness programs and regulatory reports.

Required profile

• AFIH certification (Associate Fellow of Industrial Health) with a valid MBBS degree and medical registration.
• Proven experience in occupational/industrial health, including fitness assessments and management of work‑related conditions.
• Knowledge of Indian occupational health laws and statutory requirements.
• Ability to conduct clinical examinations, interpret diagnostic tests and maintain confidential records.
• Willingness to work on‑site in an industrial or remote setting in Kutch.
