Gastroenterologist

About the role

This full-time, on-site Gastroenterologist position is based in the Kutch district. The specialist will diagnose and manage conditions of the gastrointestinal tract, liver, pancreas, and related organs, providing both outpatient consultations and inpatient care.

Key responsibilities

• Perform endoscopic procedures, both diagnostic and therapeutic.
• Interpret diagnostic tests and develop treatment plans.
• Monitor patient progress and maintain accurate medical records.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams and participate in case discussions.
• Adhere to clinical protocols, quality standards, and contribute to continuous improvement of services.
• Provide patient education.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS) with DrNB/DM or equivalent specialization in Gastroenterology.
• Valid medical registration/license as per local regulations.
• Strong foundation in Medicine with specialized expertise in Gastroenterology.
• Commitment to ethical practice, patient safety, and continuous professional development.

Required skills

• Endoscopy (diagnostic and therapeutic procedures).
• Capsule Endoscopy and related advanced diagnostic techniques.
• Clinical experience in Hepatology for liver‑related conditions.
