Nutrition Officer – Infant Nutrition (Field Role)

About the role

This field position focuses on ethical engagement with Health Care Professionals (HCPs) to share scientific, evidence‑based information on infant nutrition and Nestlé’s Infant Nutrition portfolio. The role emphasizes clear, compliant communication of product features, advantages, benefits, and appropriate use while upholding the principle that mother’s milk is best for babies.

Key responsibilities

• Promote Nestlé’s Infant Nutrition products to HCPs in line with the company Code of Ethics and the Indian Code, reinforcing that mother’s milk is best.
• Provide accurate scientific information on infant nutrition and feeding practices, ensuring recommendations stay within the scope of the Indian Code.
• Plan and execute scientific detailing, CME events, symposiums and other scientific activities following company guidelines.
• Map and segment HCPs in the assigned territory, develop and follow an effective coverage plan and call cycle.
• Maintain detailed records of HCP interactions, feedback and scientific events, and submit timely reports.
• Identify opportunities within the territory and contribute to demand‑generation activities while remaining compliant.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure availability of compliant scientific materials and support tools for field execution.

Required profile

• Graduate with at least 1 year of experience in a field sales role within a nutrition company or the pharmaceutical industry.
• High level of integrity, honesty, self‑motivation and passion for improving health outcomes.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and build sustainable relationships with stakeholders.
• Strong learning agility, trustworthy and capable of working independently within company policies and guidelines.
