About the role
The Nursing Officer will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a hospital setting in Bangalore. This full‑time position involves assessing health problems, delivering treatments, maintaining records, and educating patients and families on health maintenance.
Key responsibilities
- Record medical history and symptoms of patients.
- Administer medication and treatment as prescribed.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Perform point‑of‑care tests and conduct nursing assessments.
- Monitor patients' health status and report changes.
- Provide bedside care and operate medical equipment.
- Maintain inventory of nursing supplies.
- Offer support and education to patients and their families.
- Attend regular in‑service education sessions.
Required profile
- Graduate with 1st division in 10th, 12th and GNM Nursing/BSc Nursing/M.Sc Nursing.
- 3 months to 5 years of nursing experience.
- Strong interpersonal relationship skills, listening, team building, communication, coordination, initiative, and moral support for patients.
- Computer literacy.
