Nurse Assistant – Patient Care Role

About the role

The Nurse Assistant will support patient care within Apollo Hospitals by assessing health problems, providing bedside care, and maintaining accurate medical records. This role is suitable for graduates in GNM Nursing, BSc Nursing or MSc Nursing with up to five years of experience.

Key responsibilities

• Record medical history and symptoms of patients.
• Administer medication and treatment as prescribed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated patient care.
• Perform point‑of‑care tests and conduct nursing assessments.
• Monitor patients' health status and report changes.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Maintain inventory of medical supplies.
• Deliver bedside care and operate medical equipment safely.
• Attend regular in‑service education sessions.

Required profile

• Graduate with 1st division in 10th, 12th and a nursing degree (GNM, BSc or MSc).
• 3 months to 5 years of relevant nursing experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Team‑oriented mindset with initiative and moral support for patients.

Required skills

• Computer literacy.
