Nurse Assistant – Patient Care

About the role
Apollo Hospitals is seeking a dedicated Nurse Assistant to support patient care in a fast‑paced hospital environment. You will work closely with nurses and physicians to ensure high‑quality clinical services and patient safety.
Key responsibilities
- Record medical history and symptoms of patients.
- Administer medication and prescribed treatments.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for coordinated patient care.
- Perform point‑of‑care diagnostic tests.
- Conduct nursing assessments and monitor vital signs.
- Provide bedside care and support to patients and families.
- Maintain inventory of medical supplies.
- Operate and care for medical equipment.
- Attend regular in‑service education sessions.
Required profile
- Graduate with 1st division in 10th, 12th and GNM Nursing/BSc Nursing/M.Sc Nursing.
- 3 months to 5 years of experience in nursing or patient care.
- Ability to assess health problems, maintain accurate records, implement care plans and advise patients on health maintenance.
