Nurse Assistant – Nursing

About the role

Apollo Hospitals is looking for a dedicated Nurse Assistant to join its clinical team. The role supports patient care by assisting nurses and physicians, recording medical histories, administering medication, and providing bedside support in a hospital setting.

Key responsibilities

• Record patients' medical history and symptoms accurately.
• Administer prescribed medication and treatments.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Perform point‑of‑care tests and nursing assessments.
• Monitor patients' health status and report changes.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Maintain inventory of medical supplies.
• Operate and care for medical equipment.
• Deliver bedside care and ensure a safe environment.

Required profile

• Graduate with 1st division in 10th, 12th and GNM Nursing, BSc Nursing or MSc Nursing.
• 3 months to 5 years of experience in nursing or patient care.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Team‑oriented mindset with initiative and moral support for patients.

Required skills

• Computer literacy.
• Operation of medical equipment.
