About the role
Apollo Hospitals is seeking a Nurse Assistant to support patient care in a hospital setting. The role involves assisting nurses and doctors, maintaining accurate medical records, and providing bedside care to patients recovering from illness or injury.
Key responsibilities
- Record medical history, symptoms, and vital signs of patients.
- Administer prescribed medication and treatments safely.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated patient care.
- Perform point‑of‑care tests and basic nursing assessments.
- Monitor patients' health status and report changes promptly.
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance and post‑discharge care.
- Maintain inventory of medical supplies and ensure equipment is functional.
- Provide bedside care, including hygiene, mobility assistance, and comfort measures.
Required profile
- Graduate in GNM Nursing, BSc Nursing, or MSc Nursing.
- Academic excellence: 1st division in 10th, 12th, and nursing qualification.
- 3 months to 5 years of relevant nursing experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Team‑oriented mindset with a proactive attitude.
Required skills
- Computer literacy for documentation and data entry.
- Operation and basic maintenance of medical equipment.
