NOC Engineer – Data Center Operations

About the role

Armada is looking for an experienced NOC Engineer to ensure the reliability of its edge and data‑center infrastructure. You will monitor power, cooling, networking and environmental systems, act as a Tier‑2 escalation point and drive incident resolution across globally distributed sites.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor critical infrastructure using PLC, BMS and DCIM platforms (e.g., Distech, Schneider Electric, Siemens) and respond to alerts on power, cooling, network and environmental conditions.
• Provide Tier‑2 support, own incidents from triage through resolution, coordinate with engineering, facilities and vendors, and document post‑incident reviews.
• Perform routine health checks and maintenance of UPS, PDU, CRAC/CRAH units, generators and related MEP systems.
• Operate modular, containerized edge data‑center sites, support remote troubleshooting and ensure continuity across geographically dispersed locations.
• Develop and maintain monitoring dashboards, alert thresholds and automation scripts using tools such as Grafana, ServiceNow, Jira and SolarWinds.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in NOC, data‑center or critical‑infrastructure operations.
• Strong knowledge of PLC, BMS and DCIM platforms and hands‑on experience with power and cooling systems.
• Ability to read electrical one‑line diagrams, network schematics and technical documentation.
• Proven experience working in shift‑based or on‑call environments, including nights and weekends.
