Murex FO Developer – Agile Delivery, Cloud & Financial Services

About the role

Synechron is looking for a Murex FO professional with 3+ years of experience to support technology initiatives, software delivery and business-focused technology solutions. The role works with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements, turn them into technology solutions and contribute to successful project delivery, aligned with technology roadmaps.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage cross-functional technology teams where applicable, providing technical guidance, mentorship and knowledge sharing.
• Drive technology initiatives and ensure successful delivery of projects within agreed requirements, timelines, quality standards and objectives.
• Identify areas for improvement and implement process changes to increase efficiency.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technology solutions.
• Apply software architecture principles and design patterns to build maintainable, scalable solutions.
• Evaluate new technologies and recommend adoption based on business needs, technical suitability and delivery impact.
• Develop and maintain technology roadmaps aligned with business strategy.
• Manage technical dependencies, risks, issues and delivery priorities.
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts where required.
• Promote sustainable technology practices and measurable improvements in delivery efficiency, quality and stakeholder satisfaction.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in Murex FO delivery, implementation, configuration, support or development.
• Experience in software development, technology delivery, requirements analysis, software architecture, databases, cloud computing and Agile project management.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing projects.
• Experience translating business requirements into technology solutions.
• Preferred: experience in financial services, capital markets or another regulated environment.
