Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL) Manager

About the role

NavGurukul is seeking a Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL) Manager to design and operate a world‑class MEL function. The role will support all teams—from programs to leadership—in understanding impact, improving outcomes, and making data‑driven decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and strengthen an organization‑wide MEL framework, defining KPIs across the learner journey.
• Establish consistent processes for data collection, validation, governance, and reporting.
• Build feedback loops that enable continuous learning and improvement.
• Analyze program performance, identify trends, bottlenecks, and emerging risks.
• Create dashboards and executive reports to support strategic decision‑making.
• Partner with product and technology teams to automate reporting and reduce manual effort.
• Leverage AI and automation to enhance analytical workflows and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and implementing MEL frameworks in an education or social‑impact setting.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into actionable recommendations.
• Experience working cross‑functionally with program, product, technology, finance, and leadership teams.
• Demonstrated ability to improve data quality, reliability, and accessibility.
