Microsoft System Administrator

About the role

We are looking for a Microsoft System Administrator to manage and monitor Juniper switch pairs deployed in Layer 2 mode across client sites. The role combines on‑prem network administration with cloud connectivity to Azure, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and monitor Juniper switch pairs in L2 mode across multiple client locations.
• Onboard switches into the Juniper Mist platform and maintain integration.
• Maintain connectivity between Azure local infrastructure and client networks.
• Troubleshoot Layer 2 switching issues and optimise network performance.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and cloud teams for deployment and operational support.
• Implement network policies and ensure compliance with client standards.
• Perform firmware upgrades and configuration backups via the Mist portal.
• Generate health reports and analytics using Mist’s AI‑driven insights.
• Produce technical documentation and handover materials for operations teams.
• Support remote and on‑site network activities as required.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing Juniper switches and the Mist platform.
• Strong understanding of Layer 2 networking and Azure connectivity.
• Ability to work closely with infrastructure and cloud engineering teams.
• Detail‑oriented approach to documentation and compliance.
