Microsoft Data Architect

About the role

You will help customers gain control of their data and extract value by defining reference architectures and roadmaps for data management, business intelligence, and analytics. Working across multiple projects, you will deliver tailored Data Platform solutions on Microsoft technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Define the future Data Platform architecture together with customers, covering both on‑premises and Azure solutions.
• Collaborate with business leaders and information‑management teams to create data models that meet business needs.
• Identify gaps between existing data assets and target goals while ensuring data‑quality standards.
• Design user interfaces, data workflows, and evaluate current database structures.
• Present solution proposals to senior management and stakeholders and guide the implementation process.
• Support the full lifecycle of data platform development, from design to deployment.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of experience in data intelligence or data architecture.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure Data Services and Microsoft SQL Server solutions.
• Ability to communicate with both technical and business audiences.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a holistic view of data ecosystems.
• Problem‑solving mindset, critical thinking, and collaborative work style.
• Proficiency in English and either Dutch or French.
