MERN Stack Developer

About the role

Infosys is seeking a skilled MERN Stack Developer to design, build, and maintain modern web applications. You will work within a collaborative environment to deliver high‑quality, secure, and performant solutions that support the company’s digital transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop full‑stack applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React, and Node.js.
• Create reusable, responsive UI components in React and ensure cross‑browser compatibility.
• Design and implement secure, scalable RESTful APIs with Node.js/Express.
• Model data, design schemas, and optimize queries in MongoDB.
• Write clean, testable code, participate in code reviews, and uphold engineering standards.
• Troubleshoot production issues, improve performance, and enhance observability.
• Collaborate with product, design, and QA teams to refine requirements and deliver features on schedule.
• Document APIs, components, and technical decisions for team alignment.
• Contribute to AI‑enabled features such as intelligent recommendations or automation while ensuring data privacy.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of hands‑on experience building web applications with the MERN stack.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of authentication/authorization patterns (e.g., JWT, session‑based auth).
• Experience with Git version control and collaborative development workflows.
• Relevant degree (BE, ME, BTech, MTech, MCA, MSc, MBA) or equivalent practical experience.
