Medical Representative (TBM) - Mysore

About the role

A leading Indian pharmaceutical company is looking for a Medical Representative (TBM) to join its sales team in Mysore. You will act as the main link between the company and healthcare professionals, promoting and selling pharmaceutical products to doctors, pharmacists and hospital staff while meeting territory sales targets and keeping ethical standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular detailing visits to doctors, specialists, pharmacists and hospital teams
• Present products with evidence-based information on composition, indications, dosages, side effects and clinical benefits
• Meet monthly, quarterly and annual territory sales targets and prescription milestones
• Build long-term relationships with healthcare providers and key opinion leaders
• Coordinate with local stockists and retail pharmacies for smooth distribution and product availability
• Monitor competitors, market trends and pricing changes and report back to management
• Support medical seminars, trade exhibitions and continuing medical education (CME) programs
• Maintain daily call logs, tour plans and customer records in CRM software and submit reports

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm), Science (B.Sc.) or a related field; management degrees are a plus
• 2 to 8 years of experience as a Medical Representative in the pharmaceutical industry
• Valid driver's license and a personal two-wheeler or vehicle for field travel
