Media Producer – Podcast Production (On-site)

About the role

Indian Farmer is looking for a dedicated Media Producer to lead the end‑to‑end creation of its new Marathi podcast series, Maativerse. The role will be based in Pune and focuses on delivering high‑quality audio and video content that educates and inspires the farming community across India.

Key responsibilities

• Research and script development: conduct guest and topic research, prepare briefs and question lists.
• Pre‑production coordination: schedule guests, arrange studio or remote setups, and manage technical requirements.
• Logistics and budgeting: handle dates, finances, and hire freelancers such as directors of photography.
• Production oversight: supervise recordings, maintain the episode calendar, and ensure smooth execution.
• Post‑production liaison: work with editors to finalize audio/video, brand assets, and publish‑ready episodes.
• Publishing and distribution: upload episodes to YouTube, Spotify, Amazon Music, JioSaavn and other platforms on schedule.
• Analytics and feedback: track performance metrics, gather guest/audience feedback, and prepare reports.
• Cross‑team collaboration: partner with content, design and marketing teams for promotions and campaigns.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in content production, podcasting or media coordination.
• Fluency in Marathi and English.
• Strong research and communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.
